I have kubuntu hardy, and it worked perfectly until recently.
I started playing on line poker using a windows program and wine.
Everything was great until last week. Both my wifes side and mine
totally lost the ability to hear anything.
when the speakers are turned of and on, you do hear a crackle, so
I assume the speakers are working.
How to you reset sound?
I tried system settings, and it went thru the motions, but no success.
