Hi, My desktop (office) and laptop (everywhere) are both running fedora 8 with the last kde-fedora updates on that distribution (3.5.9-5-fc8). I am synchronizing the laptop and the desktop every morning and evening using unison. I synchronize, not only all my "working" files but also some of my configuration files (listed below). I plan to upgrade to fedora9 soon. I would like to know if the kde4 config file system will allow me to continue to proceed the same way (i.e. synchronizing config files) or if plasma and new technologies will require some changes in my way of doing things and in the case where can I find some documentation. Thanks for your help, Manoel List of the config files/directories I am synchronizing: path = Mail path = Desktop path = .kde/share/apps/akregator path = .kde/share/apps/basket path = .kde/share/apps/kabc path = .kde/share/apps/knotes path = .kde/share/apps/konqueror/bookmarks.xml path = .kde/share/apps/konqueror/bookmarks.xml.tbcache path = .kde/share/apps/konqueror/favionrc path = .kde/share/apps/konqueror/konqueror.rc path = .kde/share/apps/konqueror/profiles path = .kde/share/apps/kopete path = .kde/share/apps/korganizer path = .kde/share/apps/kwallet ___________________________________________________ This message is from the kde mailing list.
