Hi, I've build KDE 4.1 on slackware 12.1 (not everything just support, libs, base and a few others like pim, multimedia). It seems to work but when I end KDE I got the following: kdeinit4: PID 3918 terminated. kded(3915)/kdecore (KSycoca) KSycocaPrivate::openDatabase: Trying to open ksycoca from "/var/tmp/kdecache-mfranke/ksycoca4" kded(3915)/kdecore (KSycoca) KSycocaPrivate::openDatabase: Trying to open ksycoca from "/var/tmp/kdecache-mfranke/ksycoca4" kded(3915)/kio (KDirWatch) KDirWatchPrivate::addEntry: Added Dir "/home/mfranke/.kde/share/kde4/servicetypes" for "" ["KDirWatch-1"] kded(3915)/kio (KDirWatch) KDirWatchPrivate::useINotify: trying to use inotify for monitoring kded(3915)/kio (KDirWatch) KDirWatchPrivate::useINotify: inotify successfully used for monitoring kded(3915)/kio (KDirWatch) KDirWatchPrivate::addEntry: Added Dir "/opt/kde4/share/kde4/servicetypes" for "" ["KDirWatch-1"] kded(3915)/kio (KDirWatch) KDirWatchPrivate::addEntry: Added File "/opt/kde4/share/kde4/servicetypes/akregator_plugin.desktop" for "" ["KDirWatch-1"] kded(3915)/kio (KDirWatch) KDirWatchPrivate::useINotify: trying to use inotify for monitoring kded(3915)/kio (KDirWatch) KDirWatchPrivate::useINotify: inotify successfully used for monitoring kded(3915)/kio (KDirWatch) KDirWatchPrivate::addEntry: Added File "/opt/kde4/share/kde4/servicetypes/application.desktop" for "" ["KDirWatch-1"] .... .... .... kded(3915)/kio (KDirWatch) KDirWatchPrivate::removeEntry: path= "/usr/share/mime/x-epoc/x-sisx-app.xml" sub_entry: 0x0 kded(3915)/kio (KDirWatch) KDirWatchPrivate::removeEntry: Cancelled INotify (fd 10, 659) for "/usr/share/mime/x-epoc/x-sisx-app.xml" kded(3915)/kio (KDirWatch) KDirWatchPrivate::removeEntry: Removed File "/usr/share/mime/x-epoc/x-sisx-app.xml" for "" ["KDirWatch-1"] kded4: Fatal IO error: client killed This always produve over 10000 lines of log each session. How can I disable it? Thanks, Marek ___________________________________________________ This message is from the kde mailing list. Account management: https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde.
