Short question: Where are the security certificates stored for kmail (to allow it to "talk" to gmail)? (I'm using kmail 1.8.2 with kde 3.4.2.) Background: I use gmail as my isp, and kmail as my main email client. I am trying to set up nail to use to send some emails from the command line. After a lot of frustration, I'm getting close, but now I run into an error like, which tells me nails can't find the certificates: [rhk@s14 bulkmail]$ Error with certificate at depth: 0 issuer = /C=US/O=Equifax/OU=Equifax Secure Certificate Authority subject = /C=US/ST=California/L=Mountain View/O=Google Inc./CN=smtp.gmail.com err 20: unable to get local issuer certificate Continue (y/n)? could not initiate SSL/TLS connection: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed "/home/rhk/dead.letter" 19/499 . . . message not sent. I'm assuming (I know) that since kmail does successfully send mail to gmail, that it has access to the certificates, and I'm guessing I should be able to link or copy them to solve the problem.
