hi,
you never replied to 'all' and 'allfiles', or if you got problem
clean up or not, or how. so i do not know where you are with file
associations.
anyway, i was trying to change association for pdf files and hosed
all pdf association.
in going back thru to see what i had wrong, i noted something in edit
window. they were pointing to ~/.kde/share/applink/.hidden directory.
within, i found *.desktop files and 3 where kpdf-?.desktop. nothing to
lose, i deleted them and all was well again.
just thought i would pass info along to see if it might help you.
