Michael,

I'm not sure with Suse, but with Fedora you have to have installed vpnc as well as kvpnc -- kvpnc is a front-end to vpnc and other vpn clients. I have it working without the front end and it works great.

Subject: Problem with kvpnc

Hello all,

I have installed kvpnc and imported valid cisco-vpn profiles. There was
no error during the imports. But when I like to connect via one of the
imported profiles I get the following error:

Fehler: Tunnelgerät fehlt, Laden von Modul tun fehlgeschlagen. Stop.
I'd translate this with: load of module tun not successfull.

I am using opensuse 10.2 with kernel 2.6.18.8-0.10. I have a current
tun.ko at /lib/modules/2.6.18.8-0.10-default/kernel/drivers/net/tun.ko

Hope that some one help me to find out why the module is not(?) loaded.

THanks a lot
Michael
