kde4 konsole does not open in exported display

[mark <markkicks@xxxxxxxxx>]

In KDE4, in konsole if I do this

export DISPLAY=REMOTE:0

where REMOTE is the host to which i want the display to get exported.
After that if I do
xterm

the xterm opens fine in REMOTE but if I type konsole, another new
konsole opens in the localhost and not in REMOTE.
how to fix this problem?
