In Kubuntu 8.04 with KDE 3.5.9 I am trying to view kcmshell inEnglish, however, when I run the application with the C locale I getquestion marks instead of the word. Below is the console output ofrunning kcmshell in the default language, then two attempts at LANG=Cand LC_ALL=C:

Although the Hebrew displays fine when cut and pasted here, it isunreadable in Konsole. I have given up trying to get Hebrew to displayas it should in Konsole a long time ago, and would like to getkcmshell running in English. What must I do? Thanks in advance.
