stop applications automatically starting after login

Hi,

I have the following problem with kde.
I have some applications that I always use (like Konsole) that are
automatically launched after logging into a kde session. Now, I don't
want thee applications to start automatically. These
applications are not launched through my ~/.kde/Autostart nor through my
runlevel autostarting file.

Any idea? How does kde keep track of the applications commonly used? Is
there a cache file I should delete or something?

Thanks
Pietro
