Konqueror isn't actually the file manager.  To manage files, it uses a 
KPart.  Standard KDE-3 has two of them: iconview & listview.

This is odd.  Perhaps they modified the two KParts also.  However, IIUC, 
the two KParts don't do the actual work of moving/copying files which is 
done by the KIO library.
