lyx and konqueror

Starting lyx by clicking on icon does not  work any more. Yet starting lyx
from the terminal emulation, same konqueror window, works as  expected.

File association is correctly set. Moreover, lyx cannot be started by
entering the command through the 'open with...' option either.
What is wrong?
