I'm a little late, but you should look into the KDE version ofForesight. Foresight was originally intended to show off the latestgreatest GNOME of the week. So it's pretty vanilla, with almosteverything installed as it left sourceforge. I should only imaginethat the KDE version will be of a similar nature.
