On my desktop at work, which is running Fedora Core 5, setting the value for activeBlend the same as for activeBackground works like a charm. However, at home, running FC6, and on my laptop, running Kubuntu 7.10, setting activeBlend has not effect at all. I've even tried changing schemes, styles, etc. to no effect. I'd poke around in the configuration routine, but I don't even know where to begin to find it. Likewise, I'm afraid that I don't even know the simple details of how to find which version of KDE I'm running. The configuration file in question: [lcolen@frogeye ~]$ cat .kde/share/apps/kdisplay/color-schemes/lrc-frogeye.kcsrc [Color Scheme] Name=lrc-frogeye activeBackground=0,0,160 activeBlend=0,0,160 activeForeground=255,255,255 activeTitleBtnBg=127,158,200 alternateBackground=240,240,240 background=239,239,239 buttonBackground=221,223,228 buttonForeground=0,0,0 contrast=7 foreground=0,0,0 frame=239,239,239 handle=239,239,239 inactiveBackground=157,170,186 inactiveBlend=157,170,186 inactiveForeground=221,221,221 inactiveFrame=239,239,239 inactiveHandle=239,239,239 inactiveTitleBtnBg=167,181,199 linkColor=0,0,238 selectBackground=103,141,178 selectForeground=255,255,255 shadeSortColumn=true visitedLinkColor=82,24,139 windowBackground=255,255,255 windowForeground=0,0,0 -- Too much of a good thing is better than too much of a bad thing.
