I used the following terms in Google to get the links I included 
in this response: kde record from sound card -krecord

krecord does not have the features you need. Audacity can be used 
in KDE for this purpose, but it is not a KDE application. The 
first link is to a HOWTO for this purpose with Audacity and KDE. 
The second is to a KDE application that may meet your needs.
