As far as I know, Kcapture is a MacOSX application; I think you mean
ksnapshot, which you may find under Kicker Menu -> Graphics.

With this program you can elect to save all the screen or one window of
it, which you select by a crosshairs cursor.  I recommend this as the
answer to your problem.
