gphoto2 camera not responding properly with hal

I am trying to get a gphoto2 camera working with hal hotplug.

The camera works when I use camera:/

But the media manager uses -
system:/media/camera
and when the camera is chosen I get -
system:/media/camera/camera/camera ... etc

from the media applet I get -
media:/camera
and when clicked on I get the same -
media:/camera

I am using -
dbus 0.92
dbus-qt3 0.7
hal 0.5.7.1
kde 3.5.3

Am I doing somthing wrong ?
