2006/7/21, Christopher Huggins <chrishuggs@xxxxxxxxxxx>:
I had the same problem years ago and in my case the cause was that I copied the mail back from a CD and all the files turned in "read only"mode. Changing this attribute to all of them I got back my mail.
On opening Kmail all
my mail and filter folders from the backup were shown but when I attempted to
open any particular mail the subject immediately changed to 'No Subject' and
the name of the sender and the date each changed to 'unknown' and the mail
opened empty.
Perhaps it's the same thing 4 you.
Anyway good luck!
Licia
