After upgrading KDE to 3.5.2 get the following error:
> startkde: Could not start kdeinit. Check your installation.
> Warning: connect() failed: : No such file or directory

> ksmserver: error while loading shared libraries: libqt-mt.so.3: cannot
> open shared object file: No such file or directory

Your Qt installation is broken somehow - it sounds like Qt isn't even
installed. You'd better check that Qt is installed.

Thanks Philip, it was a bad install of the upgrade. The Qt packages were not upgraded. Redid it and all is well.
