passing parameters with kmenu

When I look at the entries in the kmenu I can see that a lot of them are 
passing parameters like this:

kdvi %f -caption "%c" %i %m

I'm guessing that I can find out what the program accepts using the man pages.

Where can I find out what is meant by %f %c %i %m, etc
