Leave on server for "X" number of days would be alright if it wasn't for the fact I use multiple computers/OS/Location. So the ability to delete when deleted from "inbox" is an extremely handy feature ala "thunderbird", "Outlook" etc. Evolution does not have this feature either. I'll look into the shortcut configurations. AFAIK, this is not possible in the current KMail version. There are several other options regarding deleting mails on the server in the account settings (leave on server for x days for example).
