Привет Андрей:
I added a "pc" directory to /etc/X11/xkb/symbols and this activated the"includelatin layout" option in KDE. But, I had to remove a file named "pc" fromthe symbolsdirectory in order to create the directory "pc" and this may havecreated problems. And, of course nothing else good happened without the proper files orlinks forthe new directory.
I tried your suggestion to create a symbolic link and played with this, but withno success -- I think that I do not know enough about what is going onwith theunderlying system to work this out.
I have returned to the original setup with the modified xfree86 file. Unlessyou have any other suggestions, it looks like this will work fine untilthereis a new KDE version that I feel I need to install. Then I may need to dealwith this issue again, or maybe it will have been solved by the programmers.
Всего хорошего,
Alex
