Disable virtual desktop scrolling?

Running KDE 3.4.2 on Mandriva 2006.0 Free. I've googled and searched
the archives and come up with nothing, hoping somebody here knows if the
following is possible:

Can I convince KDE to *not* scroll the desktop when the desktop is
larger than the viewport (monitor) size?

----------------

	Details:

I have a dual-monitor setup with monitors of different sizes. The
monitors are combined in to a single virtual desktop, but this desktop
is obviously not rectangular because the monitors are not the same size.
The virtual desktop doesn't scroll at all on the large monitor because
it doesn't have to, but KDE scrolls the virtual desktop around on the
smaller monitor, which makes sense.

However, I would like to disable all virtual desktop scrolling in KDE,
so the desktop is not scrolled on the smaller monitor either. Yes, I
know that will cause part of my virtual desktop to become inaccessible,
but this is what I want to do.

----------------

	Ideas?

	Thanks!

-Al
