I 'see' where the problem is in ~/.kde/share/config/session/kwin* There are these entries: resourceClass1=kicker resourceClass2=kmail resourceClass3=gkrellm resourceClass4=gkrellm resourceClass5=kpager resourceName1=kicker resourceName2=kmail resourceName3=gkrellm resourceName4=gkrellm resourceName5=kpager restore1=0,738,1024,30 restore2=0,0,692,513 restore3=514,0,128,632 restore4=642,0,128,670 restore5=0,0,0,0 sessionId1=117f000001000113935700600000196890002 sessionId2=117f000001000113935715800000196890010 sessionId3=117f000001000113935943000000196890015 sessionId4=117f000001000113935943000000196890016 sessionId5=117f000001000113935950600000196890019 shaded1=false shaded2=false shaded3=false shaded4=false shaded5=false skipPager1=false skipPager2=false skipPager3=false skipPager4=false skipPager5=true skipTaskbar1=false skipTaskbar2=false skipTaskbar3=false skipTaskbar4=false skipTaskbar5=true staysOnTop1=false staysOnTop2=false staysOnTop3=false staysOnTop4=false staysOnTop5=false sticky1=true sticky2=false sticky3=false sticky4=false sticky5=true userNoBorder1=false userNoBorder2=false userNoBorder3=false userNoBorder4=false userNoBorder5=true windowRole1=Panel windowRole2=kmail-mainwindow#1 windowRole3= windowRole4= windowRole5=KPager windowType1=Dock windowType2=Normal windowType3=Normal windowType4=Normal windowType5=Normal wmClientMachine1=localhost wmClientMachine2=localhost wmClientMachine3=localhost wmClientMachine4=localhost wmClientMachine5=localhost wmCommand1=kicker wmCommand2=kmail wmCommand3=gkrellm -c stack2 wmCommand4=gkrellm -c stack1 wmCommand5=kpager If you notice anything having to do with kpager is '5'. Thus the entry for no border for kpager is 'userNoBorder5=true' as far as I can figure out anyway. I've tried to manually edit this to a 'false' changing the session manager to login from a manually saved session, however that didn't work either. Oh well, thanks for the attempts Jonathan, I appreciate the help. I'll just go back to running without it again, unless you have any more ideas with what I posted above. -- Chris Registered Linux User 283774 http://counter.li.org 18:47:53 up 29 days, 34 min, 1 user, load average: 0.54, 0.39, 0.20 Mandriva Linux 10.1 Official, kernel 2.6.8.1-12mdk
