hi shavkat,
dont know which linux distribution you use, but i think you should reconfigure your X and select appropriate mouse from a list that you offered.
i use debian and i can reconfigure X with the following command :
# dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
and with this command; i can select my graphic card, mouse, monitor type ... etc
when selecting mouse, there are lots of different mouse types in which i select correct one for my mouse.
a second way to do reconfigure your mouse is this :
open xorg.conf with your favourite editor, and edit the mouse part. [but here i assume you use Xorg and you know the properties of your mouse device.]
anyway first method is more logical ;) so u should learn how to reconfigure your X in your linux distribution.
regards,
bye.
