Hi,
There was a thread here a few months ago in which it was noted that any
running drkonqui processes prevent KDE from logging out. I just noticed the
following lines in the 'startkde' script:
# wait if there's any crashhandler shown
while dcop | grep -q ^drkonqi- ; do
sleep 5
done
So, if you want to change that behaviour, I imagine that commenting out
those lines from $KDEDIR/bin/startkde would produce the desired effect.
