why does kde write resolved symlinks in config files?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Running

~/.kde/share/config$ grep -r -- "kde-3.3.2" *

gets me:

kickerrc:DesktopFile=$HOME/.kde-3.3.2/share/apps/kicker/k3b.desktop
konquerorrc:Dir72=$HOME/.kde-3.3.2
konquerorrc:Dir73=$HOME/.kde-3.3.2/share
konquerorrc:Dir74=$HOME/.kde-3.3.2/share/applnk
konquerorrc:Dir75=$HOME/.kde-3.3.2/share/apps
konquerorrc:Dir76=$HOME/.kde-3.3.2/share/apps/kaffeine
[...]

Why? This completely messes with my idea to keep per-version-configs in case
I need to downgrade for some reason.
