Corrected question on beta

Hello,

Actually I wanted to ask about more than just debian packages and Konstruct (I
now also know there is kdesvn-build :)

Basically, is there a way to integrate KDE 3.5beta into the system, rather
than using it in /opt? If not, how do I do things like starting up kdm, which
is in the system setup all right, but with the system KDE dirs, packages,
etc.?

Also, there are some other programs dependent on KDE (i.e. Rosegarden). If I
use a non-packaged install of KDE, the packages for these programs won't run
either.

But I do want to test out the bleeding edge; things like the improvements in
Konqueror seem to be rather strong. how can I do this?

BTW, which sould I try, beta1 or SVN?
