You will have to ask the Ark team.
There is though alteady a p7zip kio plugin so that you can add p7zip to the
konqueror filemanager which means you can open p7zip files in almost ANY kde
application as well as the file manager by typing p7zip:/pathtoarchive in the
location bar. See kdeaddons at apps.kde or do a google search
