how can I disable to shortinfos that pop up, when hovering the cursor over the symbols in kicker?
Set up tasklist -> Apparence -> Show shortinfos (translated back from German, so may not be correct)
deactivate does not help anything?
That is in the Panel (Kicker) configuration dialog (KCM) on the: "Appearance" tab on the: "Layout" section.
Did you uncheck the box at the upper left?
