Re: gkrellm -> kde dock application bar?

With exactly these options set, when I start gkrellm, it doesn't go into 
the KDE dock app bar. It will go next to the xterm that I am using to 
start it up. ???

You can do this without the KDE dock app bar just by setting the appropriate 
configuration on gkrellm.

Right click on gkrellm, go to configuration.  Have a look at the 
General->Properties tab.  Check the following:

* Set sticky state
* Set on top of other windows of the same type
* Set window type to be a dock or panel
