kopete message text encoding

Hi!

Anyone knows, how to control my contact's message text encoding. I'm always 
getting a message when someone thru icq trying to send me a message, saying 
"Kopete can not display the message, check if I set the correct encoding...". 
But I don't have a clue where to set up that.
