KMail multiple content-type formats

When someone that I work with often sends me an email from their Mac
(X-Mailer: Apple Mail (2.619)) the text that he sends is shown twice.
I believe because it is sent with two different encodings.

The first is:
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
Content-Type: text/plain;
	charset=US-ASCII;
	format=flowed

The second is:
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
Content-Type: text/enriched;
	charset=US-ASCII

Is there a way that I can make KMail only show one of these sets of
the text. Or should I open a wishlist bug report?
