No Problem here (KDE 3.4b2)
And please don't change the user agent. I doubt that it helps but prevents from making Konqueror visible in the server logs.

I have been wondering why konqueror is so slow in rendering certain web pages. Just point to http://www.economist.com/ and you'll know what I mean. Firefox opens that in a blink. Konqueror also has speed problems opening most bank web sites.
Is that a problem with the websites or konq? Are there settings I can change to speed things up?
