New tab problem

Hi!  
everytime I open the new tab I get that stupid  that stupid 
Document Relations ( or something ) taskbar on the left.. it's 
really annoying when you open let's say 5 tabs and got no more 
free space left.

can you tell me how to close them and make never appear again ? :)
