Menu font sizes

I'm running KDE 3.3.1.  Despite having set the fonts to use in the control 
center, most KDE applications show another (tiny) font for my menu.  Other 
applications (Eclipse, Mozilla, etc.) show the fonts I've selected in the 
control center.  

Any ideas on how to correct this?
