In compiling the tgz packages of KDE 3.3.2, I had to set manually the bit SUID for kcheckpass. If not, it was impossible to unlock the screen by user. However, in the official SlackBuild by JPV there is no chmod. I spoke with other people, and nobody had to make this change. I compiled KDE in a clean Slackware 10. Has anyone an idea of why I don't find this bit yet set? Thanx MS -- Linux user no. 353546 Public key at http://keyserver.linux.it
