I went to KDE 3.3 - my aterm used to do transparencies - now however, I just get a grey background.
To look into this deeper, I installed rxvt. It too does the same thing. Has something changed in KDE to prevent the above from working right?
I ask this in mainly cuz when I start Flux, the trans work in both Aterm and rxvt
AFAIK, I don't know. Which means that you probably need to ask on 'kde-devel' unless a developer happens along in the next couple of days.
In general, this depends on the window manager (KWin is the default that comes with KDE) and they keep making changes to it.
