If you mean that the problem with partial messages that you experienced, I 
doubt it, seeing as the source of the messages appeared to be incomplete as 
well.

In the View menu, there's a submenu called Set Encoding. Experiment with the 
settings there. "Auto" should work. If it doesn't, you might like to set it 
to UTF-8, ISO-8859-1, or other applicable character set.
