FWIW, I nuked it again, and did NOT do the cvs up -dP after re-unpacking the konstruct archive, and the make install in meta/kde is now working for about 15 minutes without errors. This is how it worked the first time, but it didn't install everything. No devel stuffs or koffice. So why does the "cvs up -dP" fsck it up?
