The first item works correctly with the GNOME browser. Granted I use a few sites where Konqueror doesn't display some data entry fields correctly. However this may be because I'm running 1024 on a 15" monitor. Try www.tesco.com and use the Shopping tab - if I'm right it will abort with messages about screen size and not using a web browser.
