Platform: KDE-3.2.0-RC1, KDE-3.2.1 or any other KDE, SUN Java 1.4.2
I would like to run the signed Java applet from the Konqueror. In IE or Mozilla the Java VM issues the certificate trust dialog (http://193.95.229.147/000/signedapplet_security.png) before running the applet. This never happens in Konqueror and thus the trusted applet functionality is never reached.
I've tried to find appropriate settings (Konqueror Settings -> Java or Crypto), yet I have found nothing to set this up.
2. Displaying GIFs
Can somebody, please, explain why Konqueror would not display gifs on this (or any other) page: ( http://193.95.229.147/ ) ?
3. Rendering some pages
e.g. http://www.spasteater.com/ - compare it with the rendering in IE. Konqueror neither displays the flash items neither asks for the Flash plugins presency if missed.
Are here involved certain security settings or what ??
