Can you use variables within KDE Config files (~/.kde/share/config)?

For example, I have 10 users, each of their usernames mirrors their jabber ID.  
I want to include something like this in the kopeterc file:
AccountId=$USER@xxxxxxxxxx

and use the same file as a template for each user (without having to configure 
it for each one...)

Is this possible?
