Hi!
In this AMD-Duron, I have 3 systems: RedHat-9, SuSE-9.0 and Mandrake-10.0C, all with KDEs of various vintages.
Recently, I got CDs with KDE-3.2.1 and installed it in RH-9. One of the
(so far) few issues is either a bug or a very maddening unwelcome feature: say I have two apps open, and one overlaps the other (I have the Window Behavior set to 'Focus follows mouse'). With previous KDEs, moving the mouse cursor to *anywhere* visible on the lower window and clicking the mouse would bring it up to foreground. Not so with KDE-3.2.1: the only way to bring the background window up is to have the
cursor *precisely* on the window frame.
Yes, a minor thing, but after years of being used to do it one way, having to do it now a *harder* way is no fun!
Any (constructive) suggestion?
What you describe is: "Click raise active window". Check that box the same place you chose "Focus Follows Mouse", click "Apply" and see if that is what you wanted.
