what shoud the --prefix be when running
configure. I get the following error when trying to
"compile" both kopete and k3b:

checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE libraries installed. This will fail.
So, check this please and use another prefix!

i have tried
--prefix=/usr
--prefix=/usr/bin
--prefix=`kde-config --prefix`
--prefix=/usr/lib64/kde3
--prefix=/usr/lib64
