Some recent version have a bug. You must close ALL instances of Konqueror before you can eject the CD. I think that 3.2.0 fixed this.

You also must make sure, that no instance using the CD-ROM stays preloaded in the background. That's why I always disable preloading of konqueror instances. It causes more problems than advantages.
