It could work with a HTML email if you use a generic font name.
KMail currently can't create HTML emails but the version of the KDE PIM 
release 3.3, somewhen in spring 2004, will be able to.

But I think Des Dougan's suggestion with PDF is better, because it is more 
likely to look identical on the receivers end.
