Serius problems with the Kde 3.1

Hello,


I have a really bad english because I am from Brasil!!!!
My Kde 3.1 in my Slackware 9.0 has a problem. When I open
any program like (kppp, kview or the Kde it self) the screen
are to large, is impossible work or see the screen, and the 
term send me errors like this:

QWidget::setMaximumSize: (conw/ConWindow) The largest allowed size is (32767, 32767) 

I was try reinstall the Kde with the Slackware Cd but don't work!!!

What I have to do???
