Hello :) I'm using KDE 3.1.5 on Debian sid, but this same behaviour has been experienced on KDE 3.2.0. Starting with no Konq windows open, I browse to http://www.oursite.com/admin/ and I am prompted to enter a 'group number' from an HTTP form. I do so, and am redirected to another script which prompts me for my HTTP username/password. I enter said details and am shown the 'admin area' for that group. I use the 'back' button to return to the HTTP 'group number' form and enter a different group number. I now have a white screen because the 'admin script' realises the HTTP user/password does not match this group number (yes it should show me an HTML error page...) So far, everything is working as designed :) Now the problem - if I open a SECOND Konqueror window, and browse to the same 'Admin group number' page, and enter a different number, this NEW window also shows me a white screen - i.e. it does *not* pop up a new Username/Password dialog. Personally I believe this to be incorrect and illogical, since a 'new window' should clear any previously held authentication data. Since I can see no GUI configuration element to change this Konqueror behaviour, would editing an ".ini" help, or is this hard-coded in the source? I'm presently working around this by getting people to run a copy of Mozilla when they want to work on a second admin group - but this is hardly desirable :( Any solutions / comments would be warmly received! Cheers, Gavin. ___________________________________________________ . Account management: https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde. Archives: http://lists.kde.org/.
