Hello, Have a look at bug 74726 http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=74726 I thought that the problem was related to suse 8.2 installation, but you seem to have compiled konsole yourself, right? A workaround for me is to "su -username" after opening Konsole. After this I can use it and exit normally. I haven't had the time to recompile konsole from snapshot, but that seemed to work for Rex, as you can read in the comments on the bug report. --- Rikard Johnels <rikjoh@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Hi! > I have a strange problem after upgrading. > > #> konsole -v > Qt: 3.3.0 > KDE: 3.2 BRANCH >= 20040204 > Konsole: 1.2.3 > > I cxant "kill" the konsole window. > If i click on the X to close, or if i choose "Close" > kdeinit freaks and kicks > to 90% CPU usage.
