Hello,IIUC, only KWrite and KATE will do accents and support UTF8 encoding.
I have a problem with editors of KDE. They don't record the accents in my texts. I didn't change anything in my settings and when I write a text with vim accents appears correctly. Where should I look ?
Specifically, KEdit will not do accents unless they exist in ISO8859-1.
If you are using KWrite or KATE, you have a configuration problem, please provide any additional information that you have available.
